1.     Teen After-Hours Party :

 

Want to hang out at the library after it's closed to the general public? Well, get your friends together an d head over be ca us e we're hosting a Teen After - hours Party for grades 6th- 12th. Get ready for games, movies, snacks, and fun for all! Registration and Permission Slips required.

초등 6학년에서 고등3학년 사이의 학생들이 도서관 열람 시간 외에 서관에 모여서 게임을 하거나 영화를 보는 등의 활동을 한다.

 

 

2.     Creative Writing Workshop :

 

Have you ever wanted to learn how to write stories? How about poems? Would you like to share these with your friends and family? Then the library's creative writing workshop is perfect for you. We’ll be walking you start to finish in creating stories and poems! After the four- week workshop is over. We’ll put them together in a memory book for you 10 keep' Please t y to attend all four weeks. This program IS for teens in 4th through 8th grade.

초등 4학년에서 중등 2학년 사이의 학생들을 위한 Writing Class. 어떻게 이야기를 쓰고 시를 작성하는지 교육을 4 후에 개인이 자신들이 이야기들을 모아서 소장할 있도록 Memory book으로 만들어 .

 

 

3.     Teen Book Discussion Group :

 

Have you ever wanted to get together and discuss your favorite books? We’ll now's your chance! We’ll be discussing books together and also getting a jump start on ideas for summer reading. Bring a copy of your book, your ideas, and come join us for a lot of fun. This program is for in 3rd through 6th grade and registration required,

초등 3학년에서 6학년 사이의 학생들이 자신들이 좋아하는 책을 가지고 와서 토론을 하고 여름 방학 읽을 책에 대해서도 이야기를 나눈다.

 

 

4.     Teen Book Club :

 

Teen Book Club is a monthly book discussion group, There are two different kinds of TBC here at Melrose Park. We alternate between a themed book club and a book club where teens receive their own copies o f the same book. This program is for teens in 6th through 12th grade.

초등 6학년에서 고등 3학년 사이의 학생들이 달에 한번 모이는 “Book Discussion Group” 모임이다.

달로 달은 주제에 따른 책을 토론하고 다른 달은 모두가 같은 책을 읽고 토론을 한다.

 

5.     Get Graphic :

 

Get graphic is a monthly group devoted to comics, manga, and anime. We’ll be discussing what you've been reading, getting a sneak peck at what the library' s been ordering, drawing, eating, and watching some anime. Grades 6th through 12th are invited to come and registration is required.

달에 한번 만화를 좋아하는 초등 6학년에서 고등 3학년 사이의 학생들이 모여 자신들이 읽은 책을 토론하고 그림을 그려보고 만화를 보는 등의 활동들을 한다.

6.     Teen Advisory Board (TAB) :

 

Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is a bi-monthly (every other month) program that allows teens to give their feedback to the library.Together, TAB members, Katie, and Susie will work together to make changes to the library. The goal of this group is to make the library more teen friendly. Teen Advisory Board is for teens in grade 6th-12th. No registration is required.

Teen Advisory Board is also part of our volunteer program. Teens participating on the board will earn one volunteer hour for every meeting that they attend. For more information, visit our volunteer page to learn about the volunteer program .

Teen Advisory Board (TAB) 달로 모이는 초등 6학년에서 고등 3학년 사이의 학생들 모임으로 도서관에 자신들의 feedback 주어서 도서관을 십대들에게 가깝게 있도록 하는 활동이다.

TAB 모임은 자원봉사 활동의 일환으로 참가할 때마다 봉사활동 시간에도 첨가해서 있다.

 

 

7.     Out Loud! Teen Story Time :

 

Don't you miss the good old days when you could just sit back, listen to a good story, and let your imagination run free? Welcome back! Grab a free snack, have a seat, and listen to a story that will thrill you, child you, and keep you coming back for more. The fourth Sunday of every month. Program will be In the Teen Underground section of the lower level.

편안히 않아서 Storytelling 듣는 활동이다.

 

 

8.     Teen Online Book Club :

 

Join our Teen Online Book Club! Pick one of the books we will be discussing. Read it and then join in the discussion by sharing your comments about the book. We will be discussing s book 5 books in June, 4 books in July and 4 books in August.

달의 도서들 하나를 골라서 온라인상에서 자신의 의견을 남기는 등의 온라인 토론 활동을 한다.

 

 

9.     Memoir Book Club :

 

Focusing on autobiographies.

자서전 등을 기본으로 하는 토론 그룹 모임.
